Un mec à Milan

Then, you probably ended on this page because you wanted to know the creator of this blog a little more. I am very sorry, what makes me be Me will stay strictly confidential. However, I can easily explain why I chose Milan to do my internship in the tourism industry. Little Rewind.

 

At the beggining, I wanted to do my internship in the United States, nation of Lincoln and the Secession War, country of the Blues and the Californian Coast, birthplace of Elvis "The King" Presley, Martin Luther King or Quentin Tarantino. I sent my resumes to the big governmental agencies, but also to the little youth hostels, whose names were anything by cheering. Nothing worked, and the 200 mails that I sent only had 70 answers. Negative answers.

 

Desperate, I searched everywhere : Canada, Australia, New-Zealand, Croatia, Norway ... That's where Italy, perfumed with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, rocked with nature and history, and surrounded by the Dolce Vita, has imposed itself as the Holy Grail of destinations. To compare, I sent 1 e-mail to 10 italian companies, and I had an answer in the following five days. A positive answer.Finally.

 

I so had an 45 minutes-interview with the director of Incoming Partners, Destination Management Company situated in the city center of Milan. I was accepted as an intern for 5 months, from May 5th to September 30th.
